A partial mix involves the mixing of a song with an already pre-mixed instrumental (one file). Being that all instruments have already been combined into a single music file, the engineer will have limited control over the alteration of individual musical instruments.

A complete mix will include all musical elements of an instrumental with each instrument occupying their own file. For example, if an musical piece has 20 instruments within it, then there will be 20 different files with one instrument on each.

*All vocal recordings must be fully tracked out to receive service.

A complete mix is the industry standard of audio quality. The engineer must have full access to every part of the musical instrumental without limitations. It ensures that all problems that may arise can be addressed if needed.
